Based in Austin, Texas, I am a writer and editor with more than 20 years of experience with prominent global law firms, educational institutions, publishing companies, and nonprofit organizations.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English and journalism from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Arts in applied communication with a concentration in public relations and marketing from the University of Denver.
I am also founding editor of Literary West Review, a member of the National Book Critics Circle, and a professional book critic for leading book review magazines, including Kirkus Reviews and American Library Association’s Booklist magazines, providing analysis and critical assessments of nonfiction books in a variety of subgenres, including biographies and memoirs, art and photography, design, music, food and wine, travel, outdoors and nature, education, and current events and social issues.
